I hope you enjoy my immature humor, in the video, of our trip to see "David" in Florence...
(Yes I know i'm 28 ALMOST 29 years old...)
We're back! After a nasty cold and horrible wifi, we officially have a new video for you!
Florence, Italy was fabulous and we hope you enjoy this video. Fingers crossed, we continue to have good wifi for the rest of the trip! YAY!
We took a trip to the famous Abbey Road on our last day in London! There WILL be a fantastic photo coming soon! I promise! It was a LONG & WINDING ROAD (hehe) to get there, but we made it!
Enjoy! We will see you tomorrow in PARIS!
I'm going to make this a short post tonight. We just got into Paris, and we are exhausted!
Enjoy the video below from our 3rd day in London! We visit Kensington Palace and a great southern style resturant called the "Big Easy." See you tomorrow!
Our first full day in London started with the Original Tour on a double decker red bus! We stopped by Buckingham Palace first to see the Queen...obviously. Our tour took us to the London Eye, London Bridge, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Harrods, and more! In the past, our family hasn't been the most "sightseeing/museum going" travelers... we generally find the shopping and have a good time. However, thanks to Patrick, we took the original tour and we are SOOOO glad we did! If you go to London somtime in the future, make sure you take the Original Tour Hop-on-Hop-off bus!
For lunch we had fish & chips, because you have to have it once in England. For dinner, we ate at a lovely Italian resturant.
Enjoy our video from Day 2 in London!
*if the video is NOT working, please check back soon. I download this while we sleep because of our AWESOME WiFi! :)

"A Vintage Affair" by Isabel Wolff
The other week, I decided to start reading "A Vintage Affair." It has been sitting on my bookcase for quite some time, and I frankly picked it up because I was in need of an easy, light-hearted read. BOY WAS I WRONG! This book ended up being not only FANTASTIC but also deep, sentimental and historical.
This story is about a lady, Phoebe, who quits her job and opens up a vintage couture shop in England. She meets quite a few interesting characters through her job and the clothes she buys and sells. Yes it does have some boy drama, however this isn't the chick-lit type romance. It's real with lots of flaws- which to me was refreshing after reading a lot of "girl meets boy and they live happily ever after with no issues" type books. The real gem of the plot has to do with an elderly Frenchwomen who Pheobe meets in her search for vintage fashion. This storyline takes us back to late 1930s- early 1940s Europe during World War II. A heartbreaking story unfolds and you really realize this isn't just a fashion book... it's a historical story with lots of heart.
I don't want to give too much away, but if you are looking for a book to read I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you pick this novel up! You won't be disapointed!
Speaking of vintage fashion, I thought I would give my top vintage shops around the world. Check them out!
Do you have any books to recommend? let us know!
Have a good day and a better tomorrow,
